At Vintages Shop, we want you to love your vintage finds as much as we do. But we understand that sometimes a piece might not fit quite right or meet your expectations – even the most carefully curated vintage collections need the occasional return. Our returns policy is as straightforward as the clean lines on our vintage denim trousers.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery. All items must be:
- In original condition (unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached)
- Packaged securely in their original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Note: Due to their rare nature, vintage football shirts and vintage sweatshirts marked as “final sale” cannot be returned unless faulty. These pieces are one-of-a-kind treasures that we can’t replace.
How to Return an Item
Returning your vintage piece is as easy as slipping into your favorite vintage t-shirt:
- Contact us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our template below to make sure we have all the details we need.
- Wait for approval – we’ll respond within 2 business days (often faster) with return instructions.
- Package your return securely – we recommend using the original packaging to protect your vintage item during transit.
- Ship your return to our London address (provided in your return approval email). You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 5 business days
- Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable (except for faulty items)
- You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
For exchanges, we’ll ship your new item as soon as we process your return. If your preferred exchange item isn’t available, we’ll offer alternatives or process a refund.
International Returns
For our international customers (excluding Asia and some remote areas):
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service
- Customs fees are non-refundable
Faulty Items
While we inspect every vintage piece with the care of a museum curator, sometimes flaws can be missed. If you receive a faulty item:
- Contact us immediately with photos of the issue
- We’ll cover return shipping costs
- You can choose a replacement (if available) or full refund
